Natural, unposed, candid same-sex wedding photography Surrey by LGBTQ-friendly wedding photographer Sussex

Chelsea and Amy’s wedding had been a long time coming, but what a day it was! These gorgeous ladies found me back in 2020 when they were looking for an LGBTQ-friendly wedding photographer Sussex that would be able to capture their day with natural, unposed and candid wedding photography. I knew from that first conversation we’d be a great match and that made it 100% worth the wait.

The day started with bridal preps a the Stanhill Court Hotel, not far from the wedding venue, in Charlwood. Chelsea was the first one to be ready and not long after my second photographer and I started, they were off to Gildings Barns, where the ladies were getting married.

The ladies had chosen to decorate the venue with gorgeous sunflowers throughout and it looked absolutely lively and lovely. The weather was in our favour so the ceremony was able to take place outside, as well as the wedding reception that followed soon after.

As always, we managed to use the grounds of Gildings Barns for some lovely couple portraits and family formals, after which wedding breakfast was served in the barn. The party kicked off with the ladies’ opening dance and carried on well into the night, as it should!
