Natural & authentic documentary wedding photography by Surrey Sussex wedding photographer
When the bride’s mum contacted me and said her daughter was looking for a documentary wedding photographer that would capture her day in an unposed, natural and authentic way, I knew we were a great match.
I started the day by capturing the bridal prep at the ‘Gate House’ cottage in Mickleham, just outside of Leatherhead in Surrey. As a Sussex wedding photographer I work a lot in Surrey as well, as I’m based right on the border of the two counties. In fact, I had been quite a few times at the Leatherhead Register Office where the ceremony would take place.
Of course there’s always time for some family formals so after the ceremony we used the grounds at Leatherhead Register Office for some fun family photos. Festivities were going to continue at the ever so classy Surrey wedding venue Nutfield Priory in Redhill, so off we went to raise a glass to the lovely couple.
Nutfield Priory prides itself on some lovely grounds, so we took advantage of the backdrop for some stunning couple portraits, after which the wedding breakfast was to start and my day with them had come to an end. What a day it was though, with a wonderful couple and their loving families.
