St. Peter’s Church and Gildings Barns countryside wedding in Surrey by award-winning documentary wedding photographer Surrey & Sussex

When Georgia & David approached me because they were looking for natural wedding photography I knew we’d be a good match :-). Actually, it was Georgia’s Dad who had spotted me first at one of Gildings Barns wedding fairs, where I’m always present as one of their preferred wedding suppliers.

Gildings Barns, one of Surrey’s best barn wedding venues, was also the place where all the wedding celebrations were going to take place. But first things first, my second shooter and I started the day by capturing the bridal & groom preps at two different locations.

Bridal prep was done at the White Horse Hotel in Dorking, a lovely and picturesque hotel not far from Gildings Barns so ideal for a wedding day. After the bride’s ‘first look’ with her dad we all left for St. Peter’s Church in Newdigate, where the religious ceremony took place.

After a warm religious ceremony we all left for Gildings Barns, where we would be spending the rest of the day & evening. It was a day full of laughter, happy tears and most of all – love, thanks to the wonderful couple they are and the loving families that surround the.
