Outdoor tipi wedding in Dorking, Surrey, by documentary wedding photographer Sussex

When we met and Hazel & Colin spoke about their wishes regarding their wedding photography for their tipi wedding Surrey, I instantly knew we were going to be a great match. They wanted candid & natural wedding photography, captured with a documentary style approach for authentic and unposed images. Check!

The day started with bride and groom preps at different locations and the couple only saw each other for the first time at the wedding ceremony. At which the bride – looking absolutely drop-dead gorgeous – arrived in her very own turquoise Trans Am. Now that’s what I call the epitome of coolness!

As they had been legally married a few months prior to this date, the ceremony was short & sweet and lead by their kids. The couple’s wish was to have a relaxed, fun day with all their guests and that’s exactly was happened next. On with the celebrations!

People had come from all corners of the world to celebrate this wonderful couple and needless to say, the day went by very quickly. As it always does when you’re having fun! Hazel & Colin, it was a privilege to be a small part of your day, I hope you will enjoy the images for years to come. x
